DR. ROBERT T. BAKKER is the director of the Morrison Museum of
Natural History in Morrison, Colorado. He specializes in the dinosaurs and
other animals of the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods and has been the leading
proponent of the idea that dinosaurs were highly active, warm-blooded animals. He is also the author of numerous papers, popular articles, and books, including
the ground-breaking book The Dinosaur Heresies. |

DR. PHILIP J. CURRIE is the Curator of Dinosaurs at the Royal
Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology in Drumheller, Alberta, and Adjunct Professor in
biology and geology at the University of Calgary. He studies the dinosaurs and paleo-ecosystems of Cretaceous geological formations, particularly in Alberta
and other parts of North America and is author of many scientific papers,
popular articles, and books. |

DR. JOHN R. (“JACK”) HORNER is the Curator of Paleontology at the
Museum of the Rockies and Adjunct Professor of biology and geology at Montana
State University in Bozeman. He specializes in the Late Cretaceous dinosaurs of
North America, particularly hadrosaurs (“duck-bills”) and Tyrannosaurus,
and in the bone histology of dinosaurs and dinosaur embryos. He has authored a
variety of popular articles and scientific papers and has written about his
specialties in books such as Digging Dinosaurs and The Complete T. rex. He also served as Technical Advisor for the films Jurassic Park and
The Lost World. |
